Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will question Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is in custody in the liquor scam case, in detail today (Saturday). Kejriwal was remanded to ED custody until the 28th of this month. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to escalate its protest against the actions taken against Kejriwal.
The ED believes that interrogating Kejriwal extensively is necessary to obtain crucial information related to the case. The custody period of BRS leader K. Kavitha, arrested in the same liquor scam, will expire today (Saturday). The ED will seek re-custody of Kavitha, who will be produced in the Rose Avenue court. The ED intends to interrogate Kavitha and Arvind Kejriwal together. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party has decided to intensify its protest against the actions targeting Kejriwal.
The Aam Aadmi Party will hold a protest at Shahidi Park in ITO today. The party announced that leaders of the Indian alliance will also participate in the protest.
