Chennai: Actor Trisha on Tuesday responded to derogatory remarks made against her by former AIADMK leader A V Raju. In her response, she threatened to take legal action against him. A V Raju was expelled from AIADMK on February 17 for breaching party regulations.
Trisha criticized the politician’s comments on social media platforms. Trisha expressed her disgust at individuals who resort to making baseless and inappropriate remarks to gain attention. She assured that she would take necessary and severe legal measures against such behavior.
Trisha indicated that any further action on the matter would be handled by her legal team. A V Raju’s offensive statements about Trisha circulated widely in a video, prompting controversy.
This incident received considerable backlash and condemnation on various social media platforms. Producer Aditi Ravindranath criticized AV Raju’s behavior, describing his allegations against Trisha as unwarranted and baseless. She emphasized the importance of respecting boundaries and called for strict action against such behavior.
In a press conference in November of the previous year, Mansoor Ali Khan, a colleague of Trisha, made inappropriate comments about her.
