Tamil Nadu: TVK chief Vijay has unveiled the party’s manifesto ahead of the April 23 elections, outlining a range of welfare and development commitments for women, farmers, students, government employees, and rural infrastructure.
For women under the age of 60, the manifesto promises a monthly support of ₹2,500, along with six free cooking gas cylinders per household each year. It also proposes marriage assistance for economically weaker women, including 8 grams of gold and a high-quality silk saree.
In the education sector, the manifesto pledges the development of world-class facilities, complete regularisation of land records, and 100% access to drinking water.
