Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) both demonstrated remarkable double-digit growth in their domestic sales for November, surpassing the figures from the corresponding month in the previous year.
Mahindra & Mahindra reported an impressive 32% year-on-year increase in wholesales, dispatching 39,981 units to dealers, compared to the 30,392 units recorded in November of the previous year. Veejay Nakra, the President of the Automotive Division at M&M, attributed this robust growth to the strong demand for their SUV portfolio, despite encountering challenges in the supply of certain components.
Meanwhile, Toyota Kirloskar Motor achieved noteworthy domestic sales of 16,924 units in November, marking an impressive 44% year-on-year growth compared to the same month in the previous year when 11,765 units were sold.
In the commercial vehicle segment, Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) also experienced a substantial 13.37% year-on-year growth, with 22,211 units sold during the month, compared to 19,591 units in November of the previous year.
