Rajkot: Rohit Sharma showcased his batting prowess by notching a crucial half-century to rescue India from a potentially disastrous first innings in the third test against England. Following the early setbacks of losing three wickets with just 33 runs on the board, Sharma combined forces with Ravindra Jadeja to forge a resilient 77-run partnership. Currently, Sharma stands firm at the crease with 53 runs to his name, while Jadeja has contributed 39 runs. Unfortunately, India suffered the dismissals of Yashasvi Jaiswal for 10 runs, Shubman Gill for a duck, and Rajat Patidar for 5 runs. Nonetheless, the team has managed to reach a total of 111 runs for the loss of three wickets.
