State Street Investment Management has completed its strategic investment of about ₹580 crore in Groww AMC after receiving the required regulatory approvals.
The transaction gives State Street a 4.85% voting interest and an approximately 23% economic interest in Groww AMC. The investment was first announced in January 2026.
The partnership is expected to support Groww AMC’s expansion in exchange-traded funds, index-based investing and systematic investment products. The two companies also plan to work together on developing products, strengthening distribution and exploring global market opportunities.
Groww Co-founder Harsh Jain said State Street’s international experience would help the company strengthen its investment capabilities and pursue long-term growth.
The tie-up brings together State Street’s investment expertise and Groww’s digital distribution platform to develop investment solutions for a broader base of Indian investors.
