Hyderabad: A tragic incident unfolded during a cosmetic surgery aimed at enhancing a young man’s smile before his impending marriage. Laxmi Narayana Vinjam, a 28-year-old native of Hyderabad, tragically lost his life during the procedure, which occurred on February 16 at a dental clinic in Hyderabad.
The victim’s father, Ramalu Vinjam, alleges that his son’s death was caused by an overdose of anesthesia administered during the surgery. According to Ramalu Vinjam, his son fainted during the procedure, prompting the hospital staff to request his transfer to another medical facility. Unfortunately, Laxmi Narayana Vinjam passed away before reaching the alternative hospital. Shockingly, the family was unaware of the surgery the youngster had undergone.
In response to the incident, the family has lodged a complaint against the hospital, seeking a thorough investigation. They are urging authorities to scrutinize the CCTV footage to ascertain the sequence of events leading to the tragic outcome. The police have confirmed that they are currently examining the hospital records and reviewing the CCTV footage as part of their investigation into the matter.
