Two individuals have been apprehended in relation to the sexual assault on a 19-year-old college student in Mumbai’s Chembur area, as stated by the police on Sunday.
The arrests were made following the victim’s statement, and the suspects were brought before the court, where the police requested custody for additional interrogation.
The survivor, a college student, reportedly experienced the assault in a residence located within the BARC quarter at Postal Colony.
The incident is said to have occurred between 10 pm and 12:30 am during the night spanning November 15-16.
