Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, reinforces its commitment to sustainable mobility with the inauguration of its fourth RVSF (Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility) in Chandigarh.
Unveiled as ‘Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect’ by Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, this state-of-the-art facility employs environmentally-conscious processes. It has the capacity to safely and sustainably disassemble 12,000 end-of-life vehicles each year. Operated by Tata Motors’ partner, Dada Trading Company, the RVSF is equipped to scrap both passenger and commercial vehicles, regardless of their brand.
This aligns seamlessly with the company’s vision to promote eco-friendly initiatives. The success of Tata Motors’ three prior RVSFs in Surat, Bhubaneshwar and Jaipur underscores its unwavering commitment to environmentally responsible initiatives.
