RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday urged the civil society in Manipur to proactively address and mend the existing mutual mistrust. He delivered this message during the RSS Vijayadashmi Utsav held in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

“In Manipur, amid a collective yearning for peace, one must ponder: what forces endeavor to sow seeds of hatred and violence, quick to exploit any positive overture towards reconciliation? Resolving this weighty issue necessitates multidimensional efforts, driven by resolute political will, synchronous actions, and efficiency. Concurrently, the enlightened leadership of society must assume a pivotal role in bridging the chasm of mutual distrust that has festered amidst the unfortunate rift between these two communities,” Mohan Bhagwat said.

Regarding the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Bhagwat declared, “…A temple of Lord Ram is being erected in Ayodhya…Lord Ram’s idol will be consecrated at the temple on January 22…On that day, we can organize programs at our own temples across the entire nation…”.

The RSS Chief unequivocally denounced the forces he asserted were obstructing India’s forward progress.

“…There exist individuals, both within the world and within India, who are averse to India’s advancement… They endeavor to foment divisions and discord in society. Due to our lack of awareness and conviction, we occasionally become ensnared, leading to unnecessary disruptions…Should India forge ahead, their machinations will be thwarted; hence, they persistently oppose. They espouse specific ideologies merely for the sake of opposition,” remarked the RSS Chief.
