Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy PM Marles will watch the World Cup final between Australia and India in Ahmedabad on Sunday. They will be joined by many famous people, including Bollywood stars, politicians, families of cricket players, and other important guests.
The match will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had a meeting in Gandhinagar to make sure everything is safe and well-organized.
The State government said in a statement that PM Modi and Deputy PM Marles will be at the match, and Chief Minister Patel checked the plans with top officials. Security has been increased in the city and around the Motera stadium where the game will happen. Besides the local police, other forces will also be there to manage the event because more than one lakh people are expected to come.
