New Delhi: Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored that the Union Interim Budget, delivered by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, strategically lays the groundwork for the advancement and development of India. In a public announcement following the release of the budget, he emphasized its dedication to strengthening the four fundamental pillars of a developed nation, namely, the youth, the impoverished, women, and farmers.
Describing it as a blueprint for India’s future, the Prime Minister underscored its alignment with the aspirations of the nation’s youth. Notably, he referenced the allocation of a Rs 1 lakh crore fund for research and innovation as a pivotal feature of this historic budget, highlighting its provision of incentives for start-ups. Additionally, the budget outlines a substantial capital expenditure of ₹11.11-lakh crore, all while maintaining prudent control over the fiscal deficit.
Modi affirmed that the budget is designed to uplift the poor and middle class, fostering numerous employment opportunities for the youth.
