Karnataka: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches today on six properties associated with Ballari MLA and Congress leader Nara Bharath Reddy. The searches specifically targeted the residences of the Congress leader in both Bengaluru and Ballari, along with his and his father’s offices, and his uncle Pratha Reddy’s residence.
According to reports, the MLA’s family is actively engaged in quarry businesses located in the Koppal district of Karnataka and the Ongole district of Andhra Pradesh.
It’s noteworthy that Nara Bharath Reddy had previously distributed pressure cookers across Ballari city to commemorate his birthday.
The raids on his residence in Ballari commenced at 6:30 a.m. today.
